Cette carte contrôleur vous permet de connecter deux périphériques USB-A Gen 2 (10 Gb/s) à votre ordinateur de bureau. Les ports USB-A sont parfaits pour connecter des périphériques USB tels que des disques durs externes et des disques SSD, ou pour alimenter et synchroniser vos appareils mobiles. Les ports USB-A fournissent jusqu''à 4,5 W (5 V/0,9 A) d''alimentation par port USB et sont rétrocompatibles avec les périphériques USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) et USB 2.0 (480 Mb/s).

Remarque : la norme USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gb/s) est également appelée USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gb/s), et la norme USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) est également appelée USB 3.0 ou USB 3.1 (5 Gb/s).

Cette carte USB 3.2 Gen 2 intègre un contrôleur hôte ASMedia ASM3142 qui utilise 2 lignes du bus PCIe 3.0, ce qui lui permet d''atteindre un débit de 10 Gb/s sur chaque port et d''offrir un accès rapide aux périphériques hautes performances tels que les disques NVMe et SSD. La carte contrôleur prend en charge "Multiple Ins" pour maintenir une vitesse maximale lorsque plusieurs périphériques sont connectés, même via un hub USB (remarque : le hub USB doit également prendre en charge cette fonctionnalité). Elle prend également en charge le protocole UASP afin d''améliorer les performances des périphériques de stockage.

La carte d''extension est livrée avec des supports d''installation pleine hauteur et demi-hauteur pour vous permettre de l''installer dans un slot PCIe 3.0 x4 correspondant (rétrocompatible avec PCIe 2.0). Elle est compatible avec Windows, Linux et macOS et prend ainsi en charge de nombreuses plateformes. Les pilotes s''installent automatiquement sur les ordinateurs sous Windows 8 ou version ultérieure pour une installation simplifiée. Compatible avec les périphériques USB 3.1/3.0/2.0.
