Le chipset I210 offre de nombreuses fonctions avancées pour l'équilibrage de charge du trafic réseau, ce qui permet une amélioration des débits et une plus grande fiabilité des données. Il prend également en charge les normes AVB (pontage audio-vidéo) pour un contrôle optimal de la synchronisation, de la mise en mémoire tampon et de la réservation des ressources pour les flux multimédias.

Compatible avec de nombreux systèmes d'exploitation, cette carte réseau PCIe Gigabit polyvalente est idéale pour un grand nombre d'applications professionnelles qui nécessitent une mise à niveau des serveurs et postes de travail. Il s'agit d'un moyen économique de mettre à niveau le port Ethernet10/100 de votre serveur ou ordinateur vers un port Gigabit Ethernet, ou d'ajouter un port Ethernet afin de profiter de fonctionnalités avancées telles que le marquage VLAN, les trames étendues, le Wake On LAN, ou encore le MDIX Auto.
